After many happy Christmases, Theydon Christmas Trees has closed.
Running a small tree farm has become harder every year, and this year the numbers simply don't add up any more. Rather than carry on and let the standard slip, we've decided to stop while the memories are good ones.
The trees are staying exactly where they are. The plantation has become home to a great deal of wildlife over the years, and for now it belongs to them. Who knows what the future holds.
To everyone who had one of our trees, came up the lane, sent us a photo of it decorated, or told a neighbour about us: thank you. You made it a joy. We hope the trees brought as much to your Christmases as you brought to ours.
Happy Christmas, from all of us at Theydon.
If you're looking for a tree this year, Ricky is still picking and delivering them.
